Your Advocate

Mary Bolling, MSN, BS, RN, CCRN(2008-2024), BCPA  (Board Certified Patient Advocate)

For the past 35 years, I have blended professional nursing roles of patient caregiving, nurse instruction, mentoring and managing in an intensive care hospital setting.  I have a Master’s degree in Science and Nursing from Regis University and a graduate certificate in healthcare education as well as extensive training in organizational and life coaching. I passed the national board exam certifying my practice as a Professional Patient Advocate in 2019.

Navigating my own serious health event in 2011 and the treatment that followed made me realize the vulnerability of people in similar circumstances without a professional medical skill set and deep knowledge of healthcare systems.  The expertise and guidance I sought and received from leaders in the medical field related to my condition was the result of detailed research and ability to navigate  a complex healthcare system.

My strengths include consistency, compassion and tenacity.  I also possess an advanced knowledge of medical terminology allowing me to interpret data which I am able to translate for my clients.  By accessing cutting edge research evidence, I can assist my clients faced with healthcare decisions by presenting options which their care provider may have overlooked.  I look forward to applying my experience and skill set in navigation, support and guidance through your healthcare encounters toward meeting your healthcare goals.  It would be my privilege to do so….because I care for you.
